Hello Friend

 

This is "Hello Friend".

I made this card for today's Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. We are visiting a site called Unshattered, where my inspiration for this card came from this pouch.

I used die cuts for the roses, leaves and tree trunks. The flowers were die cut using dies from Bountiful Bouquet by Altenew using paper that was in my stash. 

For the leaves I used a Spellbinders set called Pom Pom Dahlia that I die cut and coloured using Copic markers.

I did not like the background being the plain black, so I embossed a piece of black card using Spellbinders Leafy embossing folder and glued the piece in place.

I also did a piece for inside the card as well, again cutting to fit in place.

I attached the die cuts to the card front using thin and regular foam dots for added dimension. Not that this card needs it! lol

I then stamped and die cut the sentiment by Hero Arts using some Gina K Design left over cardstock from my stash and VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.

I added the sentiment from the same set to the inside of the card along with a small rose die cut which I coloured using a red glitter pen.
