I made this for the Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge is about ornaments, but seeing as I got rid of my big tree and ornaments the last thing I wanted was another ornament. So I did a Christmas Decoration instead. I have had this Basic Grey paper since 2008 - clearly time to use it. I painted the sled with white acrylic paint, then attached the bottom layer of paper and just ran my crafting knife around the edge to get the detail in the paper. I fussy cut the dove, leaves and branches and outlined the doves wing with a glitter marker, and arranged to show off the dove. I added just red sequins, a crystal for the eye and some pearls in the sequins, the Peace cut out and red fibre for the hanger. Thanks for having a peek.
