Stay Cool

I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today where we had a visit to Tim Holtz Pinterest Board called Crafts. I picked this for my inspiration. I am in the mood for a lot of colour, so I started with my background. I rubbed 4 different colours into my stencil and spritzed with a lot of water before laying down my cardstock. For the sunglasses I coloured using glitter markers and used vellum for the glass portion, then mounted on foam dots. I added the die cut border and matting in the lime green and die cut the sentiment in orange, and finished with a few sequins and crystals. I love all the bright happy colours and hope you do as well. Thanks for having a look.

    Cool background technique........I'm going to have to try that but first need to get some stencils. Love all your colors on this card Kia.
