Just because

Just because! I did this card for my Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. A Clean and Simple design using just three items, which I think make a fantastic statement. I embossed my card base for texture. The design is pretty on both the front side and the inside, adding texture in both. I added my bird on pop dots and stamped in the colours of my sentiment for continuity and the star of my card is the sentiment, which I love. It is big and bold and the perfect die for this kind of application. I sponged an ombre look to show it off using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The only other thing I did on this was to add Wink of Stella on the birds eye for that bit of sparkle and a "wink". I hope you like this card. I have a doctors appointment today and always take a card for the nurse. She doesn't throw them away, they are hanging everywhere in her work area, even off the top of her computer screen. So now I take cards to her for her to send, and this one will be one of those. Thanks for having a look today.
