Hello everyone. Kia with you today. It is my turn to share with you my card, done for the February Mirror Image Event. We have for you collaberations from the Design Teams of My Sweet Petunia, So Suzy Stamps and The Ton.
This event runs throughout the month of February, with daily projects to share, and yes there are prizes for those who comment on all of the posts.
You can view the list to all of the posts, updated daily, on the So Suzy Stamps blog.
Shown here is where I stamped my image on the Mirror Image Stamp. I coloured my stamp with doCraft Markers a few times to ensure I had a lot of ink on the image stamp that would transfer to my paper.
Remember when doing this, that you will be flipping your paper upside down to get the image transfer, so your image will be on the opposite side of your paper. I wanted to fussy cut my image, so it did not really matter where I stamped, but that is not always the case.
I fussy cut my birdhouse, then arranged my scene in my Misti. I wanted to use the stitched rectangle die, so I set everything up to show inside the cut. I used markers and stamped the birds first, then did the same for the birdhouse. I left the sentiment in place for stamping later.
I die cut my piece with the stitched rectangles and placed it back in my Misti so I could use the magnets and Creative Corners to hold my paper in place while I watercoloured using my Zig Clean Colour brushes.
Once I finished the watercolouring, I inked up my sentiment a few times to get a good impression, and added a couple stamped hearts. I then attached my panel to my card base on foam strips and arranged placement of the right birdhouse, attaching it on foam dots. I added a bit of Wink of Stella along the rooflines and the right side of the left birdhouse.
Shown here are the items I used for this card, minus the foam dots and black ink.
So Susy Stamps will be sharing the posts from the hop on Facebook and Instagram in case you miss a blog post. The prizes that can be had are:

4 - $25 Gift Certificates to The Ton
4 - $25 Gift Certificates to So Suzy Stamps
