I am a very happy lady today, as Google (Michael) came through for me in the end. If you are not sure what I am talking about, I refer you to this post earlier this month. I received an email late yesterday afternoon advising me that my iphone model is now supported for text messaging for problems with emails. That made me very happy, but to be sure I attempted to log into kiaskards gmail account, and yes, it worked. I am elated to have it back, a bit late in the game, but hey, "better late than never"
say I.
So, to Google and to Michael .... you are Awesome, and I thank you.
I could not let this news pass without a card, and this is a different kind of card for me, but I do think it is more on the masculine side than the last card I made thanking Michael. This technique, Cling Wrap Background, is from Lydia of Understandblue. I did several one night before bed and left them to dry overnight. So easy and so fun with great results. I have also listed this under my Awesome Tutorials page. This particular background was done with Bister powders sprayed with Perfect Pearls, giving it that shine. I kept it simple with just the sentiment, adding the "you are" embossed with black embossing powder, and the "awesome" embossed with copper embossing powder and, a few sequins.
I hope you enjoy this card and thank you for visiting.

ReplyDeleteOh, Kia, what an absolutely GORGEOUS card! I love your background and love the simple sentiment mounted on the card base. Beautifully done! Now that's not what I would say about your blog situation in the least. I'm so sorry you've struggled with this situation and had to do all the rig-a-ma-roll with it. But it is what it is now. Sending hugs and love! xoxo
