Snowflakes are in the air for this card today.
I wanted a somewhat mystical background and I think I achieved that by doing a stencil mono-print pattern for my card panel using Paper Artsy Infusions. I let it run in the top middle a bit to get the solid colour, but kept the rest in the lighter texture look (less water). Once dry, in my Misti, I stamped on my sentiment using black ink and die cut my panel with the stitched rectangles.
For the snowflake, I originally die cut the snowflake in white glitter paper, but I much prefer the silver glitter paper snowflake. That is okay, I am sure to use the white one soon. I attached the snowflake with glossy accents in the centre. It does not show in the picture, but the snowflake appears to have movement as the outer flakes are left loose.
I attached the panel to white fun foam, then attached to my card base, which is in a darker purple. To finish, I added a few sequins in the colours from the ink, along with a purple gem on the large white sequin.
I appreciate your visit today ...
