Merry and Bright

These two birdies make me smile every time I look at them. Chubby little cuties! 

I started this card by stamping the image using Ranger Coffee ink then water coloured with Daniel Smith Watercolours, including a few of their shimmer paints on the right bird and their hat apparel. Such wonderful water colours. Once finished and dry I die cut the image using my Stitched Wonky die and matted with the green from the leaves before attaching to my white card base. 

I used white gel pen on the snow and the pompoms on the hats, then added some Wink of Stella and a bit of Stickles. It has been eons since I have used Stickles so it always surprises me when it flows. To finish I added a few clear sequins.
