We have a dull day with cold winds today, so I wanted to bring some happy into my little corner of the world with my card.
I did a technique using shaving cream and alcohol inks for my stencilled background. (In the tutorial Lydia uses re-inkers.) Either way, the colours are amazing. Once it was dry I die cut the panel using my stitched rectangle die. For my flowers I stamped using different colours of ink, then clear embossed. I painted the flowers using Daniel Smith watercolours in layers, and once finished with the colouring I die cut the flowers with the co-ordinating die set.
To put it all together I attached my stencilled panel using fun foam. I styled the flowers and attached with glue/foam dots. The sentiment was stamped in the teal and die cut using a label die, then attached with foam tape. I added Wink of Stella to the flower centres to finish.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
