As I mentioned earlier this week, the design team from My Sweet Petunia will be working with Joy Clair Stamps throughout the month of March, and as well our design team will be posting to the My Sweet Petunia blog several days a week to celebrate.
And of course there will be prizes to share with you!!! Just be sure to leave comments during this month in all our posts, so you can be entered to win one of two $25 Joy Clair Stamps Gift Card or Certificate and a MISTI (original or mini, your choice)!!! You can also find the Rules on the Joy Clair Blog.
Now, onto my card for today. I am using the Tea Party Background stamp, along with a sentiment from Mother's Day stamp set. I started by stamping the background stamp with embossing ink and heat embossed using teal embossing powder. I then added Color Burst powders in chartreuse, lime green and turquoise and misted with water until I was happy with the look.
Once dry I die cut the panel with my deckled rectangle die, and attached it to fun foam, and also added the tape to the other side as I then splattered using yellow acrylic paint, and I did not want to wait before attaching the panel to my card base. 😊
I stamped the sentiment using manganese blue ink and die cut it with the deckled circle die, then attached it to the panel with it hanging over the edge. I added a few gumdrops and was finished.
I hope you enjoy this card today, and thank you for visiting.
