Any time is a good time for a sundae, right?
This sundae is from the latest release at Frantic Stamper called Fun with Food.
To start I did my background on watercolour paper using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. Oh what fun they are. I stamped the inks on my craft mat, and the amount of water I added depended on the look I was going for. I used just a bit of the cracked pistachio, but it adds a great deal to the background. Using the same colours I built the sundae, but added the candied apple. For the glass I used the hickory smoke watered down. I die cut my background using the deckled rectangle die, and attached it to my base using fun foam. It is far less expensive to use than foam tape is, and supports the whole piece for stamping additions, which is what I did here. I added the sentiment stamped in the purple archival ink after the sundae was in place. I never know ahead of time where I want it.
I hope you enjoy this card today, and will see you next time.
