I have to say, I adore this stamp in all its glory! It is simple, but so striking, in my humble opinion of course.
To start this I first stamped the image using Ranger Archival ink in Vermillion, on Ranger distress water colour paper as I wanted the texture from the paper. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the paper stood up to all the water. I painted the first couple of layers while I watched television last night, then added a couple more layers this morning. I love how the turquoise peeks through the layers of green on some of the leaves. Once I was finished painting I went back over the stamp lines with my Sakura brush marker in vermillion. I added fun foam to the back of the panel and attached it to my card base using double sided tape. For my sentiment, I die cut the hello die in glitter cardstock along with white fun foam, then coloured the fun foam in turquoise using the Sakura markers, and glued the glitter piece to the top, and that finished my card.
I hope you enjoyed this card, and thank you for visiting my blog.
