MAKE ART

 Do you love ink? I admit I have an ongoing love affair with ink. Yes, I love Distress Ink, and 💕 Distress Oxide inks. And, as most of you who follow my blog will know, I am smitten with Wendy Vecchi inks by Ranger. As I suffer from Full Set Syndrome, I have and use all of her mini Archival Ink Kits.  I also always use the Archival Jet Black ink for my water colour cards and have never had an issue with any bleed. So when I heard that she was coming out with a new line of inks called "Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Blendable Dye Inks" I had another "must have full set syndrome" moment. And here they are.

I did my card using the Fern Green, Sunflower and Poppy and I can honestly say they are a dream to work with. They blend beautifully and the pads feel like they are satin as you glide the blending tool across them. What I mean by that is some pads grab at your blending tool, these do not do that. And the colours are to die for, in my humble opinion. 

They are an easy fit for my hands, with lids that fit snugly. And the inks pads are raised, a must for many techniques. 

They stamp nice clean images, as you can see below. The sentiment on the left I stamped with too much pressure, yet there was only slight bleed. The sentiment on the right I did quickly, without giving it much thought and it stamped perfectly. The flower I did by bringing the pad in from the sides, and it still made a good impression.

The inks dry almost instantly ... by the time I took the pieces out of my Misti they were dry. And below is a panel doing some pouncing using water and the inks in the Sunflower, Prickly Pear and Garden Patina. I am loving the look.

I am not doing this for any company, nor was I asked to do this review, I did this for my own purposes and thought I would share with you all. I can honestly say I highly recommend these inks, both for their blending properties as well as the beautiful colour palette. I have no doubt these will become part of my daily go to inks.

Isn't that Poppy gorgeous ... it time for me to go and play again!
