I called this card "Happy to say" as I am happy to say that I am now part of the Design Team with Scrap'n Stamp located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
I look forward to the next six months of designing fun, and to start of I have done today's card.
I used Penny Black's Bookmark as well as the butterflies from Penny Black Flourish and Butterflies set. I first die cut the bookmark using distress water colour paper. As the die is longer than I would like, I shortened it by cutting the top half, then adjusting my plates and cutting the lower half. I then did some pouncing with distress oxides, adding in layers and drying in between each layer. I attached the Bookmark to my Neenah card base using foam tape, then die cut the tulip and the butterflies in card stock and glued them on. I am not fussed about adding twine or ribbon to the Bookmark. I had some on and took it off as I felt it took away from the dies and the background. I then stamped the sentiment using Ranger Archival ink in Vibrant Fuchsia and added Nuvo Crystal drops to the butterfly centre to finish.
I hope you enjoy this card and I hope you will pop in to Scrap'n Stamp and have a look around.
