Poppy Circles

Hello!
I had a lot of fun making this card yesterday. It is an unusual card for me as I don't often do silhouette's, but I thought they would be perfect with my circles and the other stencil work.
I am using the backside of Ranger Distress Watercolour paper for this project due to its smoother feel. I started by die cutting my piece using my stitched rectangle die. I use the back of my Misti to stencil, as I find it easier to move the stencil to where I want it and keep it firm when needed with the magnets. I place my Misti on a piece of fun foam so as to not damage the lid.
For this card I am working with 3 different stencil, 2 of which are circle stencils, and Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I sponged on the ink colours with a damp sponge, overlapping some of the circles as I went. Once completed I stamped the poppies using Jet Black ink.  I then stencilled on white acrylic paint using the Mini Sweet Peas Stencil. Once the paint was dry I went over all of it with Wink of Stella, and the shimmer is very pretty "in real life".
You can see the acrylic paint in this closeup, I wish the shine showed up better. I then stamped the sentiment, again using the jet black ink.
To finish, and keeping with my circles, I attached my panel using foam tape and added a few gumdrops in a yellow sparkle.
I hope you have enjoyed this card and thank you for visiting my blog.
