Turtle Swim

I am participating with the Inspiration Challenge today at Splitcoaststampers where we visited the online site for Zazzle.com. My inspiration for this card comes from this phone case. 

For my card I first die cut my panel of watercolour paper. On my work surface I put down some Tumbled Glass to splat my background. I wanted a very light background to show off the turtle stencil. I then secured the stencil in place and sponged on the colours I wanted to use. Once I was done the stencil work I added Wink of Stella by hand. What can I say, I wanted some sparkle! I stamped the sentiment using the Manganese Blue and attached fun foam to the panel using Sookwang (Be Creative Tape), then attached the panel to my Aqua card base. I added a few iridescent bubbles to finish. 

This close up shows the sparkle on the turtle and reminds me that I also did some splatters with water.
