I am up at My Sweet Petunia today with this card.
It came about as it has been ages since I have used stencil embossing paste.
I use my Misti for just about everything, including stencilling. I use either paper towel or saran underneath to keep my Misti clean, but the magnets are the important part as they keep everything tight. I also put a piece of painters tape rolled up under the card panel in the middle to keep that down, and stencil away. It is rare to get seepage underneath, or if I do it will be minor, as you can see below in the close up picture.
I die cut my panel then did the stencil paste work and waited for it to dry, then added the colour, being Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers.
I die cut the smaller panel using the same die as the rectangle, just shortened it in the die. I also die cut the circle and the heart. Sponged the heart with the worn lipstick, and stamped the sentiment in Ranger Archival Paradise Teal. I sunk the circle in the the negative and glued on the heart, then added some Wink of Stella to the heart.
I hope you have enjoyed this card and thank you for visiting my biog.
Gorgeous stencil paste and DI colored background, Kia. I love your color choices and creative stitched sentiment panel with the inlayed heart. TFS Hugs..
