I did this card for a customer who was not sure what she wanted. I have had this stamp for a long time, yet this is the first time I have painted it up, and just the other day I had another request for baby cards, but this time a girl. I look forward to doing these baby shoes in the pink too.
I stamped using Ranger Archival Manganese Blue, then watercoloured using Daniel Smith Manganese Blue. Once that was done, I stamped again with VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed with Nuvo Shimmering Embossing Powder. I then die cut with my stitched circle die and set aside.
I then die cut the panel with my stitched rectangle die, and stencilled with my stars stencil using the Manganese Blue again. Once I finished with the stencilling I added Wink of Stella to all the stars, along with the hearts on the baby shoes.
I attached the stitched rectangle panel to a blue card base, then attached the circle die using foam tape. I die cut the joy sentiment and sponged on the blue to the top and bottom edges.
To finish I added a few clear sequins. You can see the Wink of Stella in this close up view.
