And, Scrap'n Stamp will be offering 20% off all shaker windows.
Now that I have finished with the business it is time to move on to the cards that I have made for today.
This is Peace & Joy, using one of the Tonic Star Die and Shaker Set. I wanted to keep it light and use non-traditional Christmas colours. I die cut a small star using acetate and stencilled the star randomly around my card panel. Using the die that comes in the set, I die cut the star and added the shaker bubble. I then added the pink sequins, that include snowflakes, to the bubble and covered with a piece of white tulle, then attached the panel to my card base.
Here is a close up photo showing the tulle. I stamped my sentiment using Ranger Archival ink in Vibrant Fuchsia and added a few crystals to finish.
This photo shows the dimensions on the card. I really like the softness on this.
For my second card I went bright and bold, being as it is still August. 😊
This shaker card is made with an acetate window. I use fun foam when I make this a shaker this way, as then I don't have to deal with the sequins sticking to the sides of the opening. As I am running the fun foam through my machine, it flattens, so I glue two pieces together.
I started this shaker by stamping my card panel with the Primitive Chevron Background stamp using Ranger Archival ink in Shadow Gray, then heat embossed with shimmering embossing powder. I painted parts of the chevron using my Zig Clean Color Brushes in Turquoise Green, Carmine Red, Pink and Light Green.
I stamped the flowers from My Favorite Things Love Buds Stamp Set, using Ranger Archival Inks in Vibrant Fuchsia, Paradise Teal and Vermilion Red, then watercoloured with the Zig colours. I lined up where the panel would be and stamped the sentiment, splitting it to make 2 lines.
To put it together I added acetate to the back of the card panel, added the mixed crystals to the card base and covered with the panel. To finish, I styled the flowers a bit and glued them to the card panel.
