I am guesting up on Your Next Stamp today with this card. I am using this colour palette as shown below as provided by Your Next Stamp.
I think like most, these colours speak Christmas to me, but I did not want to do Christmas as I wanted to use this adorable set called Sprinkles Coffee and Tea.
To Start I did a softer front for my card, but you will see below there is a party going on inside the card. I love doing this kind of change on cards, I think because it is so unexpected.
For my background I stencilled using Wendy Vecchi's Make Art Inks, using two greens, poppy and Sunflower and Donna Downey's stencil. This stencil is 8.5 x 11, so I have cut mine into 4 pieces which are easier to handle for me. If need be I can tape the pieces back together for a larger project. I used Ranger Distress paper for the texture. I die cut the panel using my stitched rectangle die.

I then stamped my image using the Ranger Archival Jet Black ink and heat embossed using Nuvo Shimmering Pearl embossing powder. I water coloured using Daniel Smith water colours, and once completed I fussy cut the image. I then attached my panel to a bright yellow base using fun foam, and attached the cup image on foam dots, then added a few gumdrops to finish.
Continuing on I then stamped the other image to go inside my card, this time using Fabriano water colour paper and heat embossing once again. I then water coloured using the same colours, but switched out the colour of the cup.
On Neenah cardstock, and using the same colours as on the front, I again stencilled the panel, die cut with the stitched rectangle die, then stamped my sentiment using the jet black in. I fussy cut the image out and attached using thin foam dots, then stamped my sentiment to the base piece before attaching inside the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this card today and thank you for visiting.
Such a sweet card!
