I was in the mood for trees when I did this card a couple of days ago, and I was in the mood for some different colours for my background.
I have had this stamp set for a long time and have never used it before, and it has since been discontinued, but any tree can be used for this technique. I have linked a few that I think would be great below.
I first did the background watercolouring with Daniel Smith watercolours in Phtahlo Green and Phtahlo Turquoise along with Sap Green. In my Misti and moving my paper, not my stamp, I then layered the tree and stamped using masking paper, using Ranger Library Green and Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough.
I then stamped the sentiment using Ranger Jet Black ink, and die cut the panel with my stitched rectangle die, matting with a dark aqua cardstock, then attaching to my card base.
To finish I stamped a few snowflakes and splattered with white acrylic paint.
Thank you for visiting today.
The colors on this are just beautiful Kia, I love this one :)
