I am sending hugs to friends with this card, and I wanted the sun ray to be unexpected for the foxes, so I brushed them using Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick. I then sprinkled with water for the splatter look. I then added Wink of Stella to each pink ray to add sparkle to them. I then die cut the panel using my stitched rectangle dies and attached to a Neenah 110lb card base.
Here is a close up of the sparkle on the rays, it is so pretty in real life.
In my Misti I then stamped the foxes on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper and painted with my watercolour palette using Indian Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber and Permanent Rose, working in layers.
Once completed and dried I added Wink of Stella to areas of the fox, and attached to the card using foam squares. I then stamped the sentiment which is from the Concord & 9th set using Ranger Archival in Coffee. To finish the foxes I added highlights with white acrylic paint.
I then moved on to the inside, doing the same design and colours, but using another of the stamps included in the Concord & 9th set. There is also Wink of Stella on the rays inside the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this card, and wish to thank you for visiting my blog today.
