Fancy Bunny

This is Fancy Bunny! I could not resist using "her" today for my sample card for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers, called "Band of Colours". My bands are rainbow colours using Distress Oxide Inks.

I started my card by die cutting my panel with my Stitched Rectangle Die.
I saw this idea when perusing Pinterest one day, and thought it perfect for the challenge today.

I did my card a bit differently as I did not have the landscape stencil. Instead I used my landscape die and cut a piece of paper to use. I did not have to worry about ink transfer, as the ink sunk into the paper and did not transfer to the card stock. Using my Life Changing Brushes, I started at the top with the lighter colours and worked my way down to the Peacock Feathers, then continued on in reverse order.
(Of note, from the die cut piece of paper you get two hill pieces to use for this process.)
I stopped where I began with the Citrus Green, leaving a bit of white space at the bottom, for my sentiment.

In my Misti I stamped the sentiment on the panel using Ranger ink. I then stamped the bunny with the same ink, and using my Life Changing Brushes I gave him some colour with the Picked Raspberry. They make this kind of work so easy, I have to say. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the Bunny Ears and Cheeks, then attached it to my card using foam squares.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card. Thanks very much for stopping by today.
