I was feeling the blue today and I thought it would be pretty with this stencil. I am also playing in the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today. I picked this teapot for my inspiration, loving the blues on the pot.
In keeping with the Wedgewood tradition, I did my stencil work on Fabriano Hot Press water colour paper, which is Ivory. I used Distress Oxides for the stencil, being Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Blueprint Sketch. Once the stencil was dry I die cut the piece with my Penny Black die, then I sprayed the panel with a mixture I made of Perfect Pearls and water. You can see the sparkle in the picture below.
I stamped the sentiment on Fabriano water colour paper using Ranger Cobalt Archival ink, and attached to the card using foam squares. I had a damp to wet rag in my right hand when I was taking the pics, from wiping up and it dripped .... right when I took my last picture. 😞

I didn't have a lot of time today, so this was an easy card to make for the challenge.
Thanks for visiting today.
