Greetings from Sweet Bear!
I am up on the Scrap'n Stamp blog today with this card, showing how to get extra mileage from your stamp collections.
This little bear comes from the Penny Black set called Space Reserved, where I cut him out from the bench that he normally sits on, and instead have him sitting on the bottom of my card panel, swinging his legs.
I stamped using Sepia ink, and painted using distress inks in Scattered Straw, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain, with a touch of Spiced Marmalade on his cheeks.
For the backgrounds, I first die cut the water colour card stock using my Stitched Stackers from Penny Black, then did the backgrounds with Distress Oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans, splattering one with the Faded Jeans and the other with the Broken China. I matted one piece with white card stock and attached it to my jewel blue tone card stock. I then attached fun foam to the back of the smaller panel with scor-pal tape, attaching to the card. The little bear is styled first, then attached using foam squares.
To finish I stamped the butterfly and dragon fly using Cobalt ink, and added Wink of Stella to them along with the Bear's nose.

DeleteYour videos are relaxing to watch, Kia; you have a perfect soothing voice for making videos. Keep making them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann, sometimes I feel like giving up as no one seems to watch them! Oh well! I will keep trying - let me know if you think there is something I should add or stop doing - lol!
