The Daffodils are Dancing for the Easter weekend. This is called Daffodil Dance from Penny Black and today I have coloured using Zig Clean Color Brushes with the background done using a colour from my watercolour palette called Schmincke Cadmium Yellow Light.
I first lightly stamped using Gray pigment ink to show the outline of the stamp in case I wanted to add colour to paper instead of the stamp. This gets covered up when the colours are added.
For the leaves I used 3 colours of green being Light Green, May Green and Olive Green, and for the flowers I used Yellow, Bright Yellow, Orange and Scarlet Red, and for the Spathe I used a Medium Gray.
To add texture I heat embossed the flower using Nuvo Shimmering Pearl embossing powder. I then die cut the panel using two of My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangle. I attached the larger piece to the card base and attached the smaller panel using fun foam and Sookwang tape.
I painted the background and added Nuvo Jewel Drops to finish.
Following is the video that I have done to share with you, along with Affiliate Links to the products I used.
Beautiful watercolored stamping, Kia! Love that you added the Shimmering Pearl heat-embossing to the flowers! The double framing is cool. Thanks so much for the tutorial video!
