This card I made for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was for weddings. As I do not need wedding cards very often I wanted to make a card that could be used for more, and I think this card can have many uses.
This is a very easy card to make. I first die cut the wonky rectangle panel from card stock, then using my stencil I sponged on the different ink colours. Once I finished the sponging I applied the glitter paste and set the panel aside to dry.
The ink colours I decided to use are from anger's Wendy Vecchi line called Make Art. In particular I wanted to use the Sunflower as I knew it would come through beautiful and bright. To sponge on the colours I used my Life Changing Brushes, which lay down the ink beautifully.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment using the Fern Green Ink, then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I attached the sentiment to my card front using foam squares.
There you have it, a pretty card with wonderful texture.
Thank you for joining me today.
Looks great Kia
