Welcome all to the Misti and Pinkfresh Blog Hop, we are happy you are with us.
I like to get the business looked after first, then move on to my cards.
There will be a $50.00 shopping spree from each of the companies participating in the hop. The winners will be announced on My Sweet Petunia website on Friday August 14, 2020.
Now on to my cards.
I made two cards for today. The first being thankful for you, shown below.
Using Fabriano Hot Press 140lb. watercolour paper and Make Art Buttercup ink I stamped the image twice. I then painted each of the images, one in the pink/red and the other in peach's using Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens. While painting I added in the buttercup ink from the stamping, giving this images no line watercolour.
I die cut the Ornate Banner die from white cardstock attaching it to a Coral colour card base using fun foam. I then styled the flowers and attached using foam squares. For the sentiment I die cut the thankful from the Coral cardstock and another piece from black cardstock to use for the shadow. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne.
A few sequins completed this card.
For my second card using Nuvo Aqua Flow Pen in Fresh Green I put down some colour on my work surface then spritzed with water and dunked my cardstock into the mix. I did not let it sit for long as I am using heavy duty cardstock for this and I was actually happy with the one dunk. I set it aside to dry.
I then stamped the flower image in my Misti again using the Buttercup ink and Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. I then painted using the Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens. I added the leaf detail when my watercolour was still wet using a sharp point.
To put it all together I die cut the green cardstock piece using the banner dies, two of the die pieces this time. I glued the bottom piece to my yellow cardbase and set it aside. I then added black and white ink splatters to the smaller banner piece. Once dry I placed the piece in my Misti and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
To the back of the banner piece I added fun foam and attached it in place on the card front. I then styled the flower and attached using foam squares.
On both cards using my Micron pen I added the black in the flower centres.
I hope you have enjoyed this card, up next on the hop is My Sweet Petunia.
