It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge this week is called Watercolour Emboss Resist.
This is a new stamp to me by Concord and 9th, and I have been wanting to paint it since I received it a couple of weeks ago. I honestly do not know where the time has gone, but here we are.
I am using Arches 140lb Cold Press watercolour paper and Daniel Smith watercolours for my card today.
To start off, in my mini Misti I stamped the image using VersaFine Clair Ink in Green Oasis, then before it dried I quickly added clear embossing powder.
I then proceeded to watercolour using Daniel Smith paints, adding some unexpected colour as I went. Once finished I did a light wash under the Artichoke and added some splatters, then in my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Clair Ink Nocturne.
To finish I attached my panel to fun foam and mounted on a dark pink cardbase. I then added a few iridescent sequins.
This was such a fun card to make. I hope you have enjoyed this card, and wish to thank you for visiting my blog today.
