This is the co-ordinating stamp that is also included in the set that I used in my last post from Sugar Pea Designs.
Today I opted to use Copic Markers to colour this wreath, where I used only 5 markers. The Eucalyptus leaves are small enough and many which makes for a beautiful full wreath.
I was surprised as I thought it would take awhile to colour, but with the small number of Copic colours it ended up going rather quickly.
To start, in my mini Misti I arranged the stamp on my Penny Black die cut piece of cardstock and stamped using Make Arts Prickly Pear ink. Starting with the leaves in the background I coloured with Copic colours YG03, then used YG01 to blend. I did two layers on each.
Moving on to the top row of leaves I started with GB23, to BG18 and ending with BG11, again doing two layers each.
I then splattered with a lot of Nuvo Midas Touch Shimmering Pen, ever so pretty.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment on the panel using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze. I then cut a mat of green cardstock slightly smaller than the frame die cut and glued them together, then affixed the pieces to my card base.
The picture above shows the shimmering splatter.
I really like the way this turned out, and I hope you do as well.
