Sometimes we get so busy with the new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a days this month to share some new projects using some great older stamps.

This is one of my favourite Tree dies, the one I pick any time I need a Tree die. I really like the shape of it and the style of the branches. For my card today, I ran it through my Gemini Jr. using white card stock.
Being a Winter card I decided to use the hugs die. It is cold and has been snowing quite a bit today in my area. Everyone will need hugs.
For the background I used Arches 140# Cold Press watercolour paper and with Ken Oliver's Color Burst powders in Ultramarine Blue.
Once the background was dry I splattered with Nuvo Glitter Gloss pen, then splattered with white watercolour paint. I added the Glitter Gloss to the tree as well. In real life it is very pretty and has that sparkle we see from a new snowfall.
I attached the Color Burst panel to a white card base and glued the tree and hugs using Nuvo Adhesive.
