My photos are a bit dark today. It was snowing and cloudy, which I find difficult as I only use natural light. I know, I keep saying I should get some shooting lights!
Today's challenge at Splitcoaststampers for Watercolour Wednesday are to draw and paint Champagne flutes. I took reference from my crystal flutes, they are thinner than most, but I like that. Ha - I don't like Champagne though!
If I had to have champagne I would pick a Rose. In any event, you can find the video for today's challenge here.
I used Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Payne's Gray and Jane's Grey for my colours.
I see I failed to draw the cup of the glass on the right class, oops! I will add it later. My glasses over lay one another, the right being more in front of the left. When they clink together in real life I would break them, but for the sake of art, the champagne flies up with bubbles to boot!
This was fun to do, but I can see changes I would make if I were to do it again.
