It is Tuesday night and that means it is time to share my card for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.
In looking at this card now, my mountains look more like waves! lol
Today's challenge is hosted by Angela, and we are viewing a video of this scene created for beginners.
I used Daniel Smith and a Schmincke watercolour to paint my scene.
You can view the related video here.
The colours include Pyrrol Scarlett, Cadmium Yellow Hue Medium, Jane's Grey, and Ivory Black. The blue I used is Schmincke Watercolour in Delft Blue, which I watered down for one of the ridges, and used full strength for the second.
I then did a ridge in the Ivory Black, using 2 layers of watercolour.
Once the painting was dry I attached it to a blue card base using scor-pal tape. I then placed the card in my mini Misti and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle.
Thank you for your visit today. Following are affiliate links showing the products I used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
