Sometimes we get busy with new released stamps and we forget about our old favourites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a day this month to share some new projects using some great older stamps.
You can see the list of today's participants on the Impression Obsession Blog.
I decided I wanted the layout to be with the sun up and the flowers along the left side of the card, like they are in a growing wall, if you have seen those before. I stamped with Memento Ink and coloured using Copic markers in various shades on Hammermill card.
On the sun I used Y18, Y13 and Y08. For the rays I used Y18. The yellow used on the flowers is Y15. The greens are G03, G14 and YG07. The pinks RV13 and RV14. Some BV34 on the Lupin like plant and YR68 with YR07.
I stamped the sentiment also in the Memento Ink at the bottom of the card, then matted the piece using black cardstock on a yellow base.
This card could be turned with the top fold on the left side easily enough. It would place the sentiment on the side, but I think would also look great.
It is such a sweet stamp, and I hope you have enjoyed this card today. I thank you for your visit.
Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card today, at no extra cost for you.
I love how you ran those flowers up the side of your card!
