Impression Obsession Theme Day In the Garden

We have set aside a day to share some fun themed projects! This month's theme is In the Garden!

If you arrived here from Jeanne Streiff' blog, you are in the correct place. If not head on over to the Impression Obsession blog for a list of today's participants.

Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today.

On my card base using a stencil I applied Distress Matte Texture Paste, running from the bottom to the top and feathering the paste out towards the top. I then set the card base aside to dry.

I then die cut the circle die and affixed foam squares to the back of it and set it aside for use once the paste is dry.

For flowers I used the Daisy Stamp (D12347). I stamped the Daisy flower head using Memento Ink the coloured with Copic markers, using in this order B24, B12, B00. For the flower centre I used Y18.

I then fussy cut each of the Daisy flower heads and styled using my stylist tool.

I die cut the hugs die 3 times, glued together using Nuvo adhesive, and coloured with the Y18 Copic marker.

To put it all together I attached the circle die cut to the background. I then glued the left and right flower to the circle die with Nuvo adhesive, and attached the middle flower using a foam square.

Using the Nuvo adhesive again I added a scattering of gems, along with applying the glue to the die cut sentiment and gluing it in place on the circle die cut.

This gives me a totally different way to use the Daisy stamp, and I think it works perfectly.

Thank you for joining me today. Next up is Laura Fulcher.
