Impression Obsession April Release Day 2

Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2021 Release Celebration Day 2!

Up first today is one of my favourite stamps from this release, there are so many favourites it is hard to decide. But I do love the composition of these buds wrapped in the surrounding leaves.

I stamped the image and the sentiment using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, then coloured the flowers using Copics in Yellows and Yellow Greens on Hammermill card. I added shadow around the image using a pale blue Copic, then attached the piece to a bright yellow card base. 

To finish up I added some Nuvo Jewel drops.

Next up is this beautiful Hibiscus flower head, which I also love. I coloured using Copics in the darker reds along with some yellow greens, the fussy cut the flower out. Using the Cute Scalloped die I did some smooshing with distress ink, then attached the flower to the piece. Using a red card base I added white card, then the scalloped piece with flower. I die cut the hugs, coloured one in the reds and doubled them up and attached to the card.

To finish I added a few gumdrops.
