Now, back to my card for today's hop. This beautiful slimline stamp from the April release is high on my list of favourites.
I decided I would keep my card clean, but alas it is by no means simple. I have used 31 Copic colours to colour this beauty and enjoyed every minute of it.
When using Copic Colours I colour on Hammermill 100lb cardstock. My card base is Neenah 120lb card. For this card I also used foam tape to raise the top panel.
I also like to use shading and in this case I moved away from my go to colours and used YG00, a lovely light yellow green shade.
I worked in groups of 3 Copic colours per leaf or flower, except when it came to the Lilies. In the links below the colours of the Lilies start at R43 and end at YR18 which is used in the flower centre. For the leaves I kept to the greens and a few blue greens. The Lupine and Petunia I used the Violets. The berries use the red, and the Lily has a lot of colours, pinks, oranges, browns, yellows.
Here is a close up of one of the flowers.
Thank you for joining me today. Next up on the hop is Laura Fulcher.
Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you. I thank you for your support.
OMGoodness- the little smiley face on the dragonfly had me in giggles.
