The Butterfly, and ...

The Dragonfly.

My card for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers. 

We watch this video for the challenge. As my computer is in another room, I do my best to remember what was in the video! It doesn't always work, so at times you just have to go for it.

For the Butterfly I used Mayan Blue added in a bit of Ultramarine Blue and Jane's Grey. Splattered with the same colours and Perfect Pearls Mixture. Did the inking with a Micron 005 pen.

For the Dragon Fly I used Amazonite Genuine along with some Ultramarine Turquoise and Jane's Grey and added splatters using Rose of Ultramarine, Transparent Pyroll Orange and Quinacridone Pink. I finished with Perfect Pearls Mixture using the Mint.

For both I used Payne's Grey for the body along with the Micron Pen.

Added foam tape to the back of the Arches paper and attached to my card bases to finish.
