Now back to my cards. I actually ended up with two favourites this month. I could not make up my mind, loving both of these, so I picked both!
I love both of the balloons. For this balloon I decided to make a birthday card. First up using an embossing folder I ran a piece of white cardstock through my Gemini Jr. with the embossing folder, attaching it to a bright pink card base.
I then stamped and coloured the balloon with Copic Markers in pinks and yellows and fussy cut it then styled it before attaching it to my card using foam squares. To finish off I added a few yellow gems.
For my second card I first did the background using Color Burst powders and set aside for it to dry.
I then stamped the balloon, coloured again using Copic markers and fussy cut, before styling to prepare to attach to card. I then stamped the sentiment and die cut the piece using a circle die.
Once the background was dry I attached it to a bright pink card base. I then added the balloon on foam squares and attached the sentiment. To finish I added a few gumdrops in a pale pink.
These cards were fun to make and I can see I will use these stamps many times in the future.
