All this week Splitcoaststamper.com is hosting the Dare to get Dirty Challenges. It is a yearly event put on by Members of the Dare to Get Dirty design team, which I am one.
Like with so many groups and despite there being hundreds of Members to this group, sadly most have moved on and do not participate any longer, which is a shame.
Despite that there are still 48 challenges in the week. As much as I would like to play in all 48, I cannot. But I did pick a few to partake in, and this is one.
I cannot tell you the challenge, but something tells me you will figure it out.
I think the key to making this work is the definition of the layers. You can clearly see the flowers in the background, the butterflies and even the die cut sentiment.
I think you can see that not all of the cuts were put back in. This leaves the negative and the positive at work which help define the design.
Further definition is achieved with the styled butterflies, which are also adding dimension. I finished by adding in rather large pearls to some of the flower centre areas. Even though they look white, they are actually pale pink.
I have to say, I do like the way this card turned out.
Thank you for joining me today.
