This stamp set of Roses comes from Altenew, being their Vintage Roses set. There is also a story behind them, which I am almost too embarrassed to admit!
They have sat in my cabinet, never seeing ink since May of 2017. What can I say?
I was organizing my cabinets and came across the set, and decided they had to be used, and I would do so for the upcoming Inspiration Challenge.
So here they are, inspired by these pictures from the Inspiration site for this week which is Nordic Wall Art.
First up I used the Paper Rose stencil to add the dots around the card front, along with the Parrot ink cube. I also stenciled the two leaves on the left side of the card.
I then stamped the flowers and leaves using the layering ink technique. I did not do all the layers on all the leaves, 3 layers on the top right, and two layers on the others.
On the flowers I used Blush, Coral Berry, Ruby Red and on 2 of the flowers I added Grapevine. I then die cut the flowers and leaves and arranged them on my card front.
Using glue on some and foam squares on others I attached the flowers, then glued the leaves trimming one to fit.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment which is from Impression Obsession using the Ruby Red ink.
I feel better now that I have used the set, and I thank you for visiting.
