Today has been a busy day for me, with this being the second card for today, which has been done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.
We are visiting a site called Not on The High Street, which makes me laugh. This site does however, have much that inspires. I picked these leaves for my inspiration.
Using my die cut leaves set by Altenew, along with watercolour card I die cut the solid leaves along with the two decorative leaves.
Making two puddles with distress ink in Kitsch Flamingo and Rustic Wilderness I added a spritz of water to each then dragged my die cuts through the mixture until I was happy with the results, and set them aside to dry.
Using the Neenah card I made my card base and die cut the panel using a Paper Rose die, attaching it to my card base using foam tape.
I then styled the flat leaves and attached them to my card panel using foam squares and glued the green leaves on each of the pink leaves.
In my mini Misti I then stamped the sentiment using the Rustic Wilderness distress ink. That is something I never do, but today it worked out wonderfully, which I am going to assume has to do with the colour of the ink.
To embellish a bit I added some Pinkfresh Enamel dots.
An easy card to make which I think has a great look. I can see so many uses for these dies, so cards will follow.
Following are Affiliate links for the products that I used on this card, at no extra cost to you. I thank you for your support.
