First up is my card using the beautiful Wreath #L5783. I inked up the stamp with VersaMark embossing ink, which helps the watercolour I am applying stay on the stamp.

I use more pigment and less water when doing this technique, which keeps for a clean impression. While the paint was still wet I added bits of glitter, rubbing it through my fingers having it fall on the damp area.

I then applied some heat to emboss everything in place. Once done with the embossing I die cut the Joy sentiment using the same watercolour paper, which is Arches cold press paper. I painted the Joy with the same colour then added some I added some gems.
This card is also using the Wreath stamp, but stamped using a layer of  Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, then a layer of Cracked Pistachio.

I die cut the bells in metallic gold card and added gold thread to the top of the bells, tying them together and adhering to the card using foam squares.

To finish off this card I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Deer Sayings, covering the Deer part of the sentiment while I stamped using VersaFine Clair Ink in Green Oasis. I also added some gold gems.
My final card for today is this sweet Reindeer whom we all know personally. Isn't he just the cutest?

I first did some stencil work in the background using distress ink in Antique Linen and a Christmas stencil. I then die cut the Birch trees from white card and applied a bit of the Antique Linen along with Copic markers for the bark area. I coloured the Cardinals using Copic markers as well.

I then die cut the Deer and coloured with Copic markers then propped him up on foam squares.

To finish this card I stamped the sentiment using Tulip Red ink by VersaFine Clair and added some black pearls to his eyes.

  12. Oh I’m dying over the boot card! That has to be my favorite… So nontraditional. And the Santa hat with the mixed media white underneath it is also incredibly striking! Just amazing!
