This is Very Merry.
I relatively clean and simple design using a stamp from Impression Obsession that I cut to make the three flower pots.
Using Arches cold press watercolour paper and in my mini Misti I stamped the image using VersaFine Clair ink.
I then ran the piece through my Scan n Cut, cutting out each of the pieces and proceeded to watercolour using Daniel Smith watercolours.
While the pieces dried, I die cut the circle from the same paper. I then splattered Gouache to the front of my Kraft card base.
To give the plants dimension I styled them slightly using my largest stylist. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment on the circle using Ranger Archival ink.
Using foam tape I then attached the circle.
I also added foam tape to the back of each of the plants, and added them to the card, with the left one hanging off the circle slightly.
This stamp is really cute I think, and makes a sweet Christmas greeting. And using just one of the plants for another CAS card would work wonderfully.
I admit, having the Scan n Cut makes short order of "fussy cutting" when one does not have dies.
