Meet "Leaves of thanks".
This card I did for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Our challenge video is from one of my favourite artists Jenna Rainey, and is the follow up to my challenge of last Wednesday, which I forgot to upload!
This was my second go, and probably I could have done a third. Alas, practice is the key to leaves, and to trees as well.
I used Daniel Smith paints in various colours to paint, mixing some of the greens with blue.
The problem I have is that my leaves are thin, and that makes them appear stiff.
I used Arches cold press paper for this card, along with some Gina K Design card stock for my base and matting. To put together I used Nuvo Deluxe adhesive.
To finish off I stamped my sentiment from Waffle Flower Stamps using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
Thank you for stopping by today.
