Monday Already!

This is "Monday Already!" Yes I know it is only Sunday, but he is getting prepared for Monday.

I was in the mood for something fun and thought about this Ostrich set that I had not used as yet. I thought it would be fun to colour him up in some bright colours, preparing him for the coming Monday.

For this card I am using Neenah card along with Hammermill cardstock, which I use for my Copic colouring. I have stamped the Ostrich using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.

Mr. Ostrich has had a bit of an exhausting weekend as you can see. The colours I used are as follows:

Neck and Legs: RV02, RV04, RV25; Feathers: V12, V15, V17: Leaves G05, G07: Mug BG11, BG23, BG32: Coffee E23: Beak E15, E23: Sand E31, E97 and Eyes Y18 with red sharpie.When I was finished with my Copic colouring I did the sunrays for the background using A Colorful Life Design stencil and Make Art Sunshine Ink.

I cut another piece of card to mat my top piece and applied the Sunshine Ink around the edges with a heavy hand, then attached the layers together using glue.

To finish up I stamped the sentiment going along his neck using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. I had a great time doing this card, and I hope it shows.
