Let me introduce you to "Dandelion Wishes".
This card I am doing for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com, where we visited Annie Cloth for inspiration. I picked this top as my inspiration.
I am using a stamp that I have had for awhile, but it has never seen ink. I forgot I had it until we did a Dandelion painting for Watercolour Wednesday last week.
It is a very pretty set as you can see and the Dandelion is beautiful. It is by Technique Tuesday, and after looking further into this line I find I very much like their stamps.
To stamp I used my mini Misti along with versamark embossing ink. I then heat embossed with glacier white embossing powder from Nuvo.
I am stamping on black watercolour paper, only because I am out of black cardstock. I admit however that I love the texture on this paper.
Once I was finished the embossing I cut two of the corners with my corner punch, then attached the piece to my card base using foam tape.
To change it up a bit I sponged on some Peacock Feathers oxide ink to the flower centres. Depending on where the light hits the card it can look like there is ink missing from the top Dandelion, but it is there.
To finish up I added some Studio Katia gems around the card. I have not stamped the sentiment inside the card, I will wait to see what I will use it for.
I thank you for your visit today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used today at no extra cost to you.
