This is "Delicate Lace".
A new embossing folder from Tim Holtz which I think is beautiful with the intricate details. For my first card using this embossing folder I decided I would do the Inked Embossing Folder technique.
The paper I am using is Grafix Dura-Lar which has an off white appearance to it, and for some reason it appears more delicate to me, which is perfect with this embossing folder.
I inked up the inside of the embossing folder using distress oxide in Salvaged Patina. The side I used is the side where the manufacturers name is printed. I then spritzed with water very lightly as I did not want a lot of movement.
I set it aside to dry while I did the inside.
Again using the Dura-Lar paper and the Salvaged Patina I then did the inside of the card using a small piece of bubble wrap and the tiny dots stamp from my Creative Espressions Bubble Texture Blots stamp.
In the picture above you can see part of the inside of the card.
Once everything was dry I attached the pieces to my white card base using Lawn Fawn glue.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment, which is from Colorado Craft Company using the VersaFine Clair ink, then heat embossed with the clear embossing powder.
I cut the sentiment piece and added a heavy weight cardstock behind it, along with foam squares to attach my card base.
It has the appearance of a delicate card I think. The embossing folder is truly stunning.
I hope you have enjoyed my card for today. Following are Affiliate links for the products that I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
