My card for today is to send all of you "Valentine Hugs".
This is a very easy card to make. On Strathmore Bristol I am using A Colorful Life Stencil for my design along with two colours of distress inks.
I first put down the pink on my work surface, then picked the colour up with my paint brush and applied it to the heart, being sure to hold down the hands as I went around them.
Once the light pink was dry I put down the red on my work surface, then applied bubble wrap to the inks being sure to get as much on the wrap as I could and applied the wrap to the background.
This card is 4.5 square, so I did not really want another layer of card, instead using the red ink to add the red colour going around the edges of the Bristol card.
To finish up my card I added foam tape to the back of the Bristol card, then attached it to the pale pink card base.
