This is "Awesome Rainbows".
There is nothing like making a rainbow card to make a person smile. All the happy colours in one place for the eye to feast upon!
I hate to admit it, but I have had this die with the sentiment "rainbows" for quite some time. I only managed to get the stencil a few days ago so I could make the card. I kept forgetting to order it.
I first die cut all the pieces I needed using Classic Crest White Neenah cardstock, as I would colour using distress inks and Copic markers.
Starting with the rainbow, along with the co-ordinating stencil and distress inks, I added the colours of the rainbow using Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet.
I then moved on to the words, colouring using Copic markers in two tone. The word "awesome" was done using YR65, YR68, and "rainbows: done using V15, V17.
For the Shamrocks I used Copic G14 and G07.
To put it together I die cut a piece of Neenah card using the Penny Black die and attached it to a piece of dark orange cardstock. I then attached the Rainbow using foam tape.
I glued on the sentiments and the Shamrocks using Lawn Fawn adhesive, and added a few purple gems to finish.
I know, I always say I enjoyed making this card, but I did very much enjoy making it.
